Smart City Development Goals will be discussed and catalyzed in New York City on December 12th, 2017. Participants from local, county, state, and federal government agencies, as well as their counterparts in business and academia, are invited to explore setting smart city development goals in New York City and beyond that revolve around (a) connectivity, (b) mobility, and (c) resilience.

The event will highlight recent efforts within New York City and across the state focused on connecting people, places, things, and information. In addition to the themes that drive efforts as listed above, focus areas will include interoperable standards, solutions that reach beyond municipal boundaries, and dynamic business modeling that supports efficient growth and new opportunities for residents and businesses.
