>> SMART CINCY SUMMIT UPDATE
Ideas will incubate, great minds will collaborate, and smart city planning will be catalyzed at the Smart Cincy Summit, a day-long event at which the Regional Smart Cities initiative will make Greater Cincinnati the epicenter of the first Smart Region in the United States.
Speakers and panelists are still being finalized for the event, but already committed are Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and several members of the Cincinnati city council, members of the Cincinnati city manager’s executive staff, as well as lawmakers from northern Kentucky, southwest Ohio and southeast Indiana.
The Smart Cincy Summit’s event date (April 25) comes at a good time, as it takes place one week before the responses to the city’s Smart Cincy (yes, they put our name on it) Phase 1 RFQ are due that is centered around WiFi solutions and smart city planning.
