Venture Smarter is happy to announce and preview Smart Sister Cities to support municipal and government leaders across a variety of focus areas. Smart Sister Cities is dedicated to building smart cities and connected communities. 100 cities will be chosen for Venture Smarter's Smart Sisters Cities program participation beginning in 2018. Each oity will earn a place on the CMRi list, and support tools to help create more connected, mobile, and resilient places to live, work, and visit.

The 2017 Global City Teams Challenge (GCTC) Expo will bring together over 100 cities and communities around the world in partnership with more than 300 companies, universities, non-profits, and federal government agencies to share and exhibit their smart city projects and the impacts to their communities.
Over 100 action clusters will exhibit and present their projects. SuperClusters will announce smart city blueprints that document real-world examples and best practices among smart city plans and solutions gleaned from cities around the world. Venture Smarter is proud to announce its partnership with the World Bank Youth-to-Youth Community for Y2Y’s upcoming Youth Tech forum on smart cities. The forum, which will be held in Washington, D.C., on June 22 at the World Bank, will explore the role of today’s youth in creating the smart cities of tomorrow in developing regions. Featured presenters will include WEL’s Katrina Eckard, Lisnr’s Rodney Williams, Wyzerr’s Natasia Malaihollo, and Venture Smarter’s Busayo Odunlami, just to name a few.
