Venture Smarter with Mitchell Kominsky at The Washington Post Live: Technology 202.

On Thursday, December 13, The Washington Post will gather state and local elected officials, industry leaders and experts for a discussion about the intersection of technology, mobility and the future of cities.

Venture Smarter Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Mitchell Kominsky, will share his insights on the technology of the future during the 10:00 - 10:30 AM segment, ‘Are Smart Cities Getting Smarter?’

Ubiquitous connectivity and streamlined data collection are enabling cities, their business and their residents to save energy, reduce traffic and function more efficiently. But smart cities come with tradeoffs: Among them, privacy and other issues companies, city leaders and residents must grapple with. In this segment, we will hear from innovative startups and advocates who are working with urban communities to create the digital infrastructure for the cities of tomorrow.

From the adoption of autonomous vehicles to the growth of electrified infrastructure to designing smart cities, the way we live and move is on the verge of tremendous change. This event will explore the factors that will govern the speed of that change and explore the on-the-ground challenges involved in building the transportation systems and cities of tomorrow.

The program will be streamed live at Sign up to receive a live stream notification here.
