Jake Rishavy, Colorado Smart Cities Alliance
Jake Rishavy is Co-Founder of the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance, a statewide public, private and academic collaboration based on accelerating the responsible adoption of smart cities practices. Jake also serves as the Vice President of Innovation for the Denver South Economic Development Partnership, where he supports innovation and entrepreneurship efforts for a region that is home to four cities, two counties, six Fortune 500 companies, 20,000 other operating companies, a workforce fo 250,000 employees together contribution $60B in annual economic output. In this role, he has also co-founded initiatives including Prime Health, a business ecosystem aimed at accelerating the growth of 145 Colorado-based health tech companies, and TechrIoT, a national ecosystem and accelerator for emerging Internet of Things (IoT) companies. This work is conducted with the goal of creating a cohesive regional approach to developing public/private technology partnerships to enhance service delivery and improve quality of life throughout the state of Colorado.
