Jason Goldman, ITS America
Jason Goldman is the Vice President for External Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement at the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America). As part of his work managing ITS America’s initiative on bringing thought leadership to emerging transportation technology issues, Goldman is focused on the policies needed to advance the creation of smart communities. To further ITS America’s public policy agenda, Goldman engages in outreach to state and local governmental organizations as well as third-parties. Goldman also oversees ITS America’s relationships with its state chapters. Additionally, Goldman contributes his extensive policy expertise to ITS America’s legislative and regulatory efforts.
Before joining ITS America, Goldman served as the Interim Executive Director of TechFreedom, a DC-based technology think tank. Prior to that position, he served as the Senior Telecommunications Policy Counsel and Managing Director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—where he advocated for public policies aimed at fostering technological innovation.
Goldman received his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, where he earned a certificate from its Institute for Communications Law Studies. He obtained his B.A. in political science from Washington University in St. Louis. Goldman also is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
