Local startups share the stage at new Smart Columbus visitor center (Video)

The Smart Columbus visitor center and headquarters set to open downtown is packed with technology from the likes of AT&T, IBM, a number of automakers and several Central Ohio startups and established businesses.

The Smart Columbus Experience Center opens next week at 170 Civic Center Dr., in the first floor of a parking garage across from the Scioto Mile park.

"There are a lot of local companies in here," said Jordan Davis, smart city director with the Columbus Partnership. "It's important to our city, and our city's story, that it's not just mega technology companies."
