San Leandro, CA City Council Votes to Expand Public Wi-Fi for Residents

San Leandro, CA: The San Leandro City Council unanimously voted on Monday this week to expand its public Wi-Fi network, SL-WiFiber, to more locations downtown, branch libraries, and seven public parks throughout the City. On Monday, June 18, 2018, the City Council approved a consulting agreement with SmartWAVE Technologies and a license agreement with the County of Alameda for use of county-owned communications facilities to support the expansion project.
