Smart Cities Caucus will Explore Challenges of Event Security in a Connected World

The Congressional Smart Cities Caucus launched earlier this year to streamline the creation of policies that accelerate smart development efforts across cities and regions of all sizes in the United States.  Joining the Congressional Smart Cities Caucus this month is the Congressional 5G Caucus to host a policy discussion centered on the public safety and security.

The panel titled, “Exploring the Challenges of Event Security in a Connected World” will convene on Wednesday, July 18th from 3pm-4pm in the Capitol Visitors Center, HVC-201AB.  This panel will explore ways to increase coordination and utilize innovative solutions to bolster event safety and feature panelists from public safety, the FCC and industry.  Stay tuned for an event recap following the event.
